Close-Up Footage of Mavi Marmara Passengers Attacking IDF Soldiers

Video taken by IDF naval boat shows the passengers of the Mavi Marmara, one of the ships in the ‘Free Gaza’ Flotilla, violently attacking IDF soldiers who were trying to board the ship after having sent repeated requests for the boat to change course.

Large groups of passengers surrounded soldiers and beat them with metal poles and chairs, and threw one soldier over the side of the ship. Some passengers grabbed pistols from the IDF soldiers and opened fire. As a result of the attacks, seven IDF soldiers were injured, and nine of the passengers were killed.

The ‘Free Gaza’ Flotilla had publicly insisted on their non-violent intentions, however their violent attack on the IDF soldiers was clearly premeditated. They had knives, metal rods, firebombs and other items ready to use.

NY Bomb Plot Reveals Evolution of Terrorism

Like the United States, al-Qaida and its affiliates have learned to adapt, so what we are seeing now are more-frequent, less-ambitious attacks by people who have minimal training. That apparently was the case with Faisal Shahzad, who allegedly has admitted his role in the botched bombing attempt in Times Square and is talking to investigators, according to Attorney General Eric Holder.

The evolution of terrorism is both good news and bad news. The good news is that spectacular attacks are being prevented, thanks to the hard work of the CIA, FBI, local police, and the military.

Bin Laden is isolated, unable to plan plots. Predator drone strikes are taking out more al-Qaida leaders and operatives. Although President Obama deserves credit for continuing the strikes, the reason for the increase in successful attacks is a geometric increase in the number of drones funded by the Bush administration, improved intelligence, and good weather so far this year in target areas.

The bad news is that the terror attacks, while less ambitious, are coming more frequently and eventually will be successful.

There was no joy in liberal land when the prime suspect in the Times Square bomb plot turned out to be a Pakistani-American. The right-wing terrorist boogeyman vanished. Leftist racial and ethnic profiling failed again.

The right-wing bomber story line quickly established itself in the meme stream. New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, prompted by CBS News reader Katie Couric, speculated that the culprit was “homegrown, maybe a mentally deranged person or someone with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something.” MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and NBC News “terrorist analyst” Roger W. Cressey dwelt long on the idea of the bomber being someone with a “right-wing” agenda. Geraldo Rivera seemed fixated on the idea that the bomber was a “white man.” Similar unsubstantiated musings and outright accusations were rife in the liberal blogosphere.

But then a suspect was apprehended on a Dubai-bound airplane, and his name was Faisal Shahzad. Talk about an inconvenient truth. It would be nice if this were just another opportunity to mock the haplessness of those liberals who are so captive to their agenda that they subordinate reality to their warped worldview. Delusions like this, however, place the country in danger.

Now onto something which I touched on in an earlier post, a bit controversial but an issue that still remains as a hot topic, continued details into Obama’s eligibility. Only when the issue has been ruled out will I cease on articles such as this but until then I will continue to raise my concerns. I seriously believe it is worth the time to read them whether you agree or not. There are certain facts that make it plausible. The questions that need to be asked: What if it is true? Then what? Not sure what can be done.

I cannot think of any other subject in recent American history that has been so mired in controversy, so factually misrepresented, mischaracterized and so misunderstood than the matter of the eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA II to hold the office of President of the United States. Despite its importance, the topic has been summarily dismissed as fodder for conspiracy theorists by many, while others insist that the question of OBAMA’s citizenship has been “asked and answered.” But has it really been answered, and if not, why not?

For months we had waited for clear direction and a strategy on the war in Afghanistan. Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top U.S. commander on the ground, requested 40-60,000 additional troops in order to boost security for the Afghan populace. Anything less would mean defeat.

President Obama spent the past several months dithering while the American people were anxiously awaiting a decision on whether he would send the necessary troops or we would begin troop withdrawal. On Tuesday, Obama announced that he will be sending in half of what McChrystal requested, 30 thousand troops, but what struck many as strange was a 2011 transition date to begin pulling out troops. Many troops and their families are mixed over Obama’s war plan, praising the surge but surprised at a 2011 troop withdrawal. Now all that our enemies have to do is blend in for the next 18 months or so.

Sounds like a strategy – tell our enemies our exit  plan. Is that really even a strategy if you call it at that. So why are we then only sending in 30,000 troops? Why not do what the general on the ground asked? Probably too militaristic to his base of supporters, hardly fitting for a Nobel Peace Prize winner. Right?

It is quite apparent that our Commander in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, is playing politics with American lives. Could it be that he is trying to win over his base by an early withdrawal before election year in 2012? Whatever it is, President Obama’s lengthy speech on Tuesday night was mixed confusion with poorly defined terms and objectives. There was a lack of overall clarity that gave no inspiration to the American people that there will be victory.

I agree and unfortunately our military will be paying the price and burden for the indecisiveness and political games played by a weak leader. Pray for our troops and their families.

Last week at US Army Base in Fort Hood TX, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan shouted “Allahu Akbar”, then went on a killing rampage, leaving 13 dead and dozens wounded. This was the worst terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11. The facts are evident and Hasan’s links to al-Qaeda should be troubling as there were numerous warning flags that could have prevented such a massacre. How could someone with his past be allowed to have continually serve in the US Army, as a psychiatrist nevertheless? What needs to be investigated is what did everyone from top down know and when did they know it? We must ask the tough questions that no one is asking and do whatever it takes to prevent another attack.

Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan demonstrated many things when he allegedly committed treason in the war on terror. For starters, he showed — gratuitously, alas — that evil is still thriving.

He demonstrated that being a trained psychiatrist provides no immunity to ancient hatreds and religious fanaticism, nor does psychiatric training provide much acuity in spotting such things in others. For example, the London Telegraph reports that, in what was supposed to be a medical lecture, Hassan instead gave an hour-long briefing on the Koran, explaining to colleagues at Walter Reed Army Medical Center that nonbelievers should be beheaded, have boiling oil poured down their throats and set on fire.

When Nidal Hasan Reached Out to Al-Qaeda, Why Was Nothing Done About It? Officials: U.S. Army Told of Hasan’s Contacts with al Qaeda

The details surrounding Nidal Hasan’s murderous rampage keep getting more disturbing. ABC reports that Hasan reached out to al-Qaeda:

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with an individual associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

According to the officials, the Army was informed of Hasan’s contact, but it is unclear what, if anything, the Army did in response.

Political correctness kills and this is how:

As a reminder, political correctness is derived from the more intellectually respectable doctrine of cultural relativism (it’s sort of CR’s public “happy face”). In essence, cultural relativism holds that an individual’s beliefs and activities should only be understood in terms of his or her own culture. It’s the ultimate version of “who are we to the judge?” If Ayatollah Khomeini wishes to oppress all the women and homosexuals in Iran, it’s their way. If Mao seeks to knock off seventy million of his countrymen, so be it. Let the Chinese decide. We shouldn’t impose our values.

On our increasingly tiny globe, this theory — when spelled out — is nothing short of preposterous. It fairly invites a return to the mass murdering ideologies of the Twentieth Century — Nazism, communism, etc. — and opens the door wide for Islamism.

Still not convinced it is out of Islamic Ideology? That somehow an American man who is Muslim could not be capable of the visciousness

Well, these are the words of Anwar al-Aulaqi, Hasan’s one-time spiritual leader, after the mass murder:

Nidal Hassan is a hero. He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people. This is a contradiction that many Muslims brush aside and just pretend that it doesn’t exist. Any decent Muslim cannot live, understanding properly his duties towards his Creator and his fellow Muslims, and yet serve as a U.S. soldier. The U.S. is leading the war against terrorism which in reality is a war against Islam. Its army is directly invading two Muslim countries and indirectly occupying the rest through its stooges.

Nidal opened fire on soldiers who were on their way to be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. How can there be any dispute about the virtue of what he has done? In fact the only way a Muslim could Islamically justify serving as a soldier in the U.S. army is if his intention is to follow the footsteps of men like Nidal.

The heroic act of brother Nidal also shows the dilemma of the Muslim American community. Increasingly they are being cornered into taking stances that would either make them betray Islam or betray their nation. Many amongst them are choosing the former. The Muslim organizations in America came out in a pitiful chorus condemning Nidal’s operation.

The fact that fighting against the U.S. army is an Islamic duty today cannot be disputed. No scholar with a grain of Islamic knowledge can defy the clear cut proofs that Muslims today have the right — rather the duty — to fight against American tyranny. Nidal has killed soldiers who were about to be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in order to kill Muslims. The American Muslims who condemned his actions have committed treason against the Muslim Ummah and have fallen into hypocrisy.

Imagine a Christian preacher praising the killing of abortionists. Just one doctor killed by an ideology would cause on uproar. The Western World is being asked to stay silent all for diversity. At what cost? We’re facing an ideology that praises murderers, glorifies death, and elevates their way of life by destroying nonbelievers – infidels.

The Army, the CIA, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security said nothing rather than do the right thing and let the chips fall where they may. Is this the new America we live in where we cannot correctly call it for what is, pure evil? Political correctness has long destroyed the fabric of our society and our efforts must remain vigilant in ridding out Islamic terrorism and Jihad. We cannot fail our fellow Americans, all for the risk of offending someone.

After Prime Minister Angela Merckel’s gracious visit the Obama administration went out of their way to publicize the fact that the President would have no part in recognizing the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The Berlin Wall of course represented everything America stood in opposition to, and it was an American President and not a Soviet agent that ultimately caused it to fall. So why wouldn’t President Obama wish to do the simple act of honor to his OWN nation and the cause of liberty universally and pay homage to a date the unified the German people after many years of separation?

In the wake of “11/5,” the attack at Fort Hood, Barack Obama faces a tough choice–like it or not.

The 44th president must choose to confront an unpleasant reality, head on–or else it will run him over. The issue is the threat of terrorist violence, here on the homefront.

Terrorism, and the debate over how to respond to terrorism, was the defining issue of the 43rd presidency. And now it’s apparent that Obama, too, will spend the bulk of his presidency confronting terror, from Afghanistan to new battlezones, such as central Texas.

Obama and fellow Democrats would rather, of course, talk about health care. But over the next few years, the Fort Hood shooting is going to be a bigger story, since it is connected to our relations, good and bad, with the entire Islamic world, including nuclear Pakistan and almost- nuclear Iran.

For his sake, and for ours, Obama needs to understand that sometimes even presidents don’t get to decide the agenda — the agenda is decided for him. In such a situation, the question is whether or not the president can adapt to the new era and its new challenges.
